Detroit’s bustling breakfast & lunch spot is opening an Ann Arbor location and we're hiring our small opening crew! Iggy’s Eggies—a high-volume, independently-owned restaurant specializing in Egg Sandwiches—is looking to fill our professional FOH staff with kind, sharp and motivated individuals who are comfortable performing a mix of related duties. Responsibilities include taking and bagging orders, handling cash, cooking eggs, restocking & more. Prior serving experience is preferred but not required. We care more about you you are than what you've done!

Egg Sandwiches, You Say?
We opened Iggy’s Eggies in Detroit’s Capitol Park neighborhood in December 2018 to provide Detroiters fast, fresh, made-to-order breakfast at an affordable price. Our custom Jammy-Yolk Egg Sandwiches, Fresh-Squeezed OJ & French Toast Sticks took-off and our business has grown nearly 600% from year one. Our flagship location is on Grand River between Woodward & Griswold and we are opening a 2nd location this Spring at 611 E. Liberty St. in Ann Arbor. Iggy’s is independently owned & operated by restaurateur Eli Boyer alongside sister restaurant Voyager in Ferndale.

So what’s the job, exactly?

Our most successful staff members are "morning people", great communicators and thrive in a fast-paced & energetic environment. All staff must be able to arrive as early as 7am consistently, and Saturday/Sunday availability is required. Our crew works as a collective to provide a quick, consistent & delicious breakfast, 7 days a week. But we are incredibly busy on the weekend!

All staff members are a part of our tip pool, which is split equally among all staff members based on hours worked. The starting hourly wage is $13/hr (with the potential for quick increases) and you can expect $8-$12/hr in additional tip-share, on average. All in, hourly income averages $20-$25/hr. Benefits include direct primary health care via Plum Health, employee/family discounts & flexible scheduling. We need both part-time and full-time staff, although full-time is the priority.
