Summary Objective
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Associate to join our dynamic team. The Parts Associate will play a crucial role in our operations by managing inventory, fulfilling kit pulls, and ensuring the availability of parts for various projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of inventory management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Kit Pulling:
- Accurately pull and assemble kits of parts based on work orders or project specifications.
- Ensure that all components are included in each kit, checking for accuracy and completeness.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain an organized and efficient parts storage area.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and update records to track stock levels.
- Communicate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Process parts requests from various departments in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are picked accurately.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
