BROAD FUNCTION:

To serve as a resource for the Planning & Scheduling, Inventory, and Procurement departments within the Materials Team. Actively evolve processes and procedures associated with material acquisition and inventory control to exceed the company’s daily revenue and profit margin goals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with other members of the materials team:

· Responsible for maintaining ISO documents and requirements related to Materials Management.

· Prepares and reviews quarterly scorecards with purchasing team and suppliers if needed.

· Establishes new procedures and process improvements where needed.

· Lead and or participate in projects related to materials management.

· Participates in SIOPS, NPD and CIP processes providing inputs from the Materials Team.

· Prepares reports and power point presentations for weekly and monthly review of KPI’s/metrics.

· Sources and Purchases supplies and materials as assigned according to specifications.

· Creates monthly production plan guide.

· Act as a back-up for other team members

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Engineering/Scheduling preferred.

Experience: Minimum of three years purchasing experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing industry with emphasis in production planning, preferred.

1. Excellent communications skills

2. Excellent computer and analytical skills with a focused ability of problem solving.

3. Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (specifically Microsoft Word & Excel).

4. The ability to lead cross-functional teams.

5. Working knowledge of Epicor

6. An in depth understanding of product costing attributes (total cost solution)

7. Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems

8. The ability to work well under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
