ICAN Missouri Foundation has immediate openings for full and part-time Direct Support Staff. Shifts will vary depending on the position that is applied for and applicants flexibility.

Minimum Qualifications - To qualify for employment an applicant must posses a high school diploma/GED, valid driver's license, dependable vehicle, current auto insurance, and be able to pass a background check, reference check, and drug test.

Job Responsibilities-
1. Read Individual Plans and be aware of behavior support plans. Provide habilitation and vocational training as described in consumers’ Individualized Plan.
2. Understand and implement positive behavior support techniques.
3. Take individuals to a variety of places in the community designed to help them achieve the goals outlined in their plans.
4. Maintain CPR/First Aid, CPI, First Aide, and Medicaid Administration Certifications.
5. Maintain consumer and program confidentiality.
6. Be cross trained in multiple departments to assist with needed coverage.
7. Chart data regularly and accurately.
