Direct Support Professional

RJD has openings in Moberly for motivated, supportive, and compassionate people to fill our open Direct Support Professional positions. Direct Support Professionals are responsible for the implementation and documentation of goals for the individuals we serve. Our DSPs must be willing to be active advocates for the individuals served with an emphasis on person-centered choices and decision-making. DSPs will provide guidance, support, and/or assistance on various goals such as daily living skills, budgeting, healthy choices, work and relationship skills, and community activities.

Our open positions start at a base of $16/hr. However, DSP's have the ability to earn a raise after successful completion of 3 month probationary period.

No experience is necessary- we will provide all training and certifications!

**Requirements for the positions are:
-18 years old with High School Diploma or equivalent
-Clear Background (Screening required)
-Reliable transportation, Driver's License & Car Insurance
-A good attitude, strong work ethic & ability/desire to help the individuals we serve maintain a fun and fulfilling life.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR/ 1st Aid and L1MA certificates (Preferred)

**$500 Sign On Bonus available to applicants with current L1MA & /CPR First Aid Certifications**

Shift availability:

• Day Shift - WEEKENDS ONLY [With the ability to pick up additional shifts when available.]
• Evening Shift - WEEKENDS ONLY [With the ability to pick up additional shifts when available.]
• Overnight Shift
