POSITION: Machine Maintenance

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY: The Machine Maintenance position is responsible for maintaining and repairing the various machinery, production processes, auxiliary equipment, Lockout/Tagout, OSHA Compliance, and building. Work with other Machine Maintenance and Utility Workers to ensure that all work is performed on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Completes minor and major repair, preventative maintenance, and major overhaul on all equipment.
• Responsible to keep all plant and building support equipment operating in a safe and efficient working order to minimize down time.
• Assists with snow removal and landscaping for all facilities.
• Performs set-ups on production machinery to meet shop order demand.
• Facilitates the moving and installing old and new equipment. Disconnects and reconnects services to machines.
• Operates manual machine shop equipment, hand tools, and Mig Welder for maintenance repairs.
• Maintains required maintenance files according to ISO 9000 standards.
• Problem solves, identifies, troubleshoots, and corrects machine issues. This may include making special repair parts, contacting vendors, or modifying current parts for equipment and machines.
• Supports lean manufacturing principles.
• Performs all other duties as directed.

Full Time Union Compensation and Benefits: Vacation time available after 60 days, discretionary bonus, health insurance, dental, FSA, life and disability insurance and a pension plan
