IAPP is Hiring a Programming & Speaker Assistant Near Portsmouth, NH

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) is looking for a Programming & Speaker Assistant to join the team.

Job Summary

The Programming & Speaker Assistant supports IAPP’s live and virtual events with speaker logistics from the request for proposal process to execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the quality, integrity, and professionalism of IAPP’s live and virtual conferences.
  • Support Coordinators on annual national and international conferences with speaker logistics and operations.
  • Assist with call for proposals processing.
  • Provide excellent customer service to conference speakers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to lawyers attending our conferences for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credits.
  • Perform MCLE administrative tasks.
  • Process MCLE applications.
  • Assist with speaker rating tracking and other historical statistics.
  • Liaise with various departments to meet speaker-related deadlines and requirements.
  • Assist in the production of web conferences and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to travel to IAPP events as assigned, including internationally approximately 1 – 5 times per year.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college; and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, time management skills, ability to self-organize.
