JOB TITLE: Residuals Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Merchant Accounting
REPORTS TO: Direct of Merchant Accounting
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No

SUMMARY OF POSITION: This teammate will be responsible for the calculation of monthly residuals, commissions and bonuses as well as managing, from end-to-end, the timely distribution of payments to i3 Verticals’ independent sales reps. Related tasks include monthly commissions reporting, analyzing the impact of commission structure changes, and the implementation of all approved commission changes. The individual in this role will also collect, analyze and validate data from multiple sources and deliver findings and reports to members of the Sales organization as well as research & prepare ad-hoc requests from members of the Sales organization. This role typically uses spreadsheets, ERP systems or dedicated computer programs to gather data for payment calculation or analysis. This teammate will contribute to the development or improvement of systems to effectively track or capture data.
While this position is designed to support the Director of Merchant Accounting and is expected to be an independent agent of change, this role requires a self-starter attitude. Candidates must be comfortable taking initiative, speaking with sales agents and driving projects that may directly impact company-wide operations and profitability. This role has significant communication responsibilities and requires the ability to regularly interact with Sales organization members, including executive management, and articulate issue resolution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
Preference given to those with experience in the Payments Processing Industry
Experience with databases/data warehouses such as Microsoft Access database and SQL is a plus
2 years of direct experience in Sales Commissions preferred
