In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts and accessories, Mobis produces chassis, cockpit, and front-end modules; safety products, including airbags; headlights; anti-lock brake systems and electronic stability control products; steering parts; multimedia systems; UVO systems; injection-molded plastic parts, such as instrument panels, carriers, and bumpers; and steel wheel rims and decks.
Role OverviewAccounting Analyst II will be responsible for preparing financial analysis reports related to expenses, inventory, and costs of goods sold.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed account fluctuation analysis for SG&A accounts including Freight.
- Assist departments in the account reconciliation process on monthly basis.
- Support Finance Manager in preparation of the management reporting package
- Provide key operational cost and freight reporting to Management
- Identify possible opportunities for reducing the costs
- Provide Management with reports containing the factors that affect the cost or profit of goods.
- Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions
Work Schedule & Travel Requirements
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
- The position is temporarily remote due to COVID-19
Educational Requirements
- High School diploma is required.
- Bachelor's Degree required in Finance or in any other related field is preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 2-4 years of Proven experience as analyst, cost specialist or similar role
- Proven experience in data, operational and financial analysis
- Knowledge of accounting processes and software
- Strong analytical skills
- Great attention to detail
- Fluent in English and optional Korean competency
- Ability to work with cross-functional operations: effective team-oriented communicator, written and verbal
- Proven experience with Access, SQL queries, SAP System, and Excel.
