MS ACSC Management Services Inc is Hiring a Claims Analyst II Near Costa Mesa, CA

Claims Analyst II Job Summary This position provides financial analysis support and financial reports to the various operating units within the Company for management decision making. This includes preparing cost/benefit analyses on various goals and objectives for the following year to assist with determining the projects that will benefit the Company and require funding for budget purposes. This position usually prepares analyses with average difficulty, and may prepare some more complicated cost/benefit analyses depending on their experience level and knowledge. In addition, this position reviews and prepares various management reports for Executive Management associated with the various products and business lines. Job Duties Prepare, review and assist in cost/benefit analyses. May also involve assisting operating units in monthly forecasting. Prepare various management reports. This includes updating current reports, creating new reports that are relevant to changing business needs, and documenting how to prepare these reports. Assist in developing computer models and automated reports with higher staff levels to develop these skills. Update computer database and ensure it accurately includes all accounts/sections based on the current organization structure on a monthly basis. Also, ensure that backup information is maintained and updated off-site. The work performed in the Finance area can vary significantly, especially regarding the level of financial analyses performed. Financial analyses can relate to anything that needs a financial review for management decision making. As a result, the financial analyst II's are expected to prepare a wide variety of analyses. For complex or unique analysis, the analyst II may need some guidance regarding the approach and the final written document necessary to present to management. However, the analyst II, should be able to develop logical assumptions and have good problem solving skills when preparing analyses or other reports. Other tasks performed by the financial analyst II's may be more routine, such as preparing monthly or annual reports to executive management on various statistics, products, and business lines. The analyst II's may have more of these routine tasks as they gain better business knowledge to be able to assist and prepare analyses. Qualifications Bachelors Finance 4-6 years Financial analysis Moderate communication skills required. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Access and Excel software products preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Scope Work is accomplished with moderate supervision. Follows established and detailed directions. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. Provides resolution to an assortment of problems that are typically well defined, but some clarification or judgment is required to determine action, as additional information about the problem/task is discovered. Uses judgment within defined practices/procedures to determine appropriate action. Problem/Task resolution timeframe: Inclusive of shorter timeframes, but the majority of tasks take up to several weeks to resolve. Under general supervision, proceeds alone for regular duties, referring questionable cases to supervisor. Individual Contributor Failure to achieve results or erroneous judgments may require the allocation of additional resources to correct and/or achieve goals. Contacts are primarily within the department or function with occasional cross-functional interfaces. Some limited external customer contact on routine matters. The starting pay range for this position is: $71,100.00 - $94,800.00 Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance. .
