Our client in St. Charles is seeking Lab Technicians for their busy powder paint manufacturing company!
Duties:
- Color Matching o Formulate using standard NAFTA formulations
o Color matching and testing
o Make color computer readings and colour computer/visual corrections and adjustments
- Set up of Lab Equipment
o Operating and set-up of lab extruders Cleaning o Cleaning and disassembling of lab equipment (changeover) from one run to another following the procedures set out by management i.e. (lockout procedure, clean down procedure) Making Lab Samples o Extrusion, grinding, and spraying of test samples Making Metallic Lab Samples o Operating and set up bonding mixers for running bonding trials
o Continually monitor lab runs for quality and machine operation, notifying supervisor if abnormalities are noticed Safety & 7S o Consideration for the safety and well-being of yourself, as well as others at all times o General Cleaning and housekeeping of your area and conformance to application safety guidelines at all times Other / additional responsibilities Additional duties as assigned by Lab Management Verify with sales the customer requirements as required Follow the requirements for ISO 14001 and 9001 systems Driving Full Responsibility and Advice Process throughout the organization
