Hydrolec, a family owned and operated manufacturing company, is looking for a team-oriented inside sales consultant. Our industry leading hydraulic power unit manufacturing company focuses on building solutions for the waste industry. Therefore, an interest in manufacturing and a passion for waste are musts. We have long standing relationships with the leaders in the waste management industry, and we are looking for someone to not only continue to nurture these relationships but to also develop new ones. When listening to our customer’s needs, we have a sky is the limit approach! Meaning, we always work with the customer to find a solution for exactly what they need—no matter how impossible the request may seem.
Duties of Hydrolec’s Inside Sales Consultant include:
1. Listening to our customer’s needs, and asking follow up questions so that we are sure to have the best solution for their usage.
2. Learning the products we design and manufacture, so that you can be a knowledgeable resource to our customers.
3. Responding to customers with alacrity.
4. Organizing purchase orders, generating sales orders, and coordinating with shipping.
5. Coordinating with production to ensure items are in stock, in process, and/ or able to ship within the customer’s expected timeframe.
6. Keeping customer’s calm when things don’t go as planned.
7. Following through every sales order from initial request to shipping, and in some unavoidable circumstances—returned goods.
