Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner is Hiring an ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER Near Tysons Corner, VA

Summary

The responsibilities of the Assistant Operations Manager include overseeing the general operation of hotel functions and assisting guests whenever necessary. Areas of focus are:

Regency Club:

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in identifying areas of improvement in RC standards.
  • Customer Relation: Collaborate with FOM to devise and execute strategies to enhance customer service within the RC, address guest concerns related to the club and oversee day-to-day operations.
  • Medallia Surveys: Respond to and follow up on any survey related to service in RC
  • Schedule club attendants and manage their time effectively. Controlling of payroll
  • Creating Daily requisitions and maintaining inventory. Time management.
  • Assist in RC employee relation, onboarding and time management
  • Monitor RC daily productivity/Hours
  • RC cleanliness and follow up on weekly deep cleaning with overnight cleaners
  • Monitor the functionality of club electrical equipment and work with ENG team as needed, utilizing HotSoS for follow up.
  • Enhance RC ambience by providing enhancements
  • Serve as a “lobby Lizard” during peak times to provide assistance to FD managers and maintain a presence in the lobby.

Barrel & Bushel:

  • Assist in floor management coverage
  • Guest relations: surveys & reviews, OpenTable, social media. Engage, follow up, and enhance
  • Team performance (SERVERS, BAR, HOSTS) track performance reports pos, customer reviews and work with the management team on enhancements.
  • Employee incentives. Update reader boards and recognition programs. Execute and maintain
  • Event Planning: setup, and execution of internal and external events (the Buzz & Plaza) and assist in promoting.
  • Additional IRG projects as assigned.
  • Position requires schedule flexibility
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities will be assigned based on business needs
