As the Associate Director of Events, the primary focus is the servicing of Group Sales bookings. This position acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel at large. Responsibilities include: administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage, and A/V needs, managing room blocks and pick up, billing instructions, and final review. Event Managers also are the on-site contacts and are responsible for the smooth execution of all events.
Additionally, the position will support the hiring, training, coaching, and development of Event Planning and Sales Managers as well as other members of the Events team. Preferred candidates will have previous Hyatt experience and the desire to grow toward a Director position.
