The Assistant Director of Operations is responsible for the smooth functioning of the hotel's Rooms and F&B divisions (Operations). Works closely with Department Heads and reports to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will work with direct reports (department heads) to develop and implement departmental strategies and ensure implementation of the brand standards, strategies and initiatives. The Asst. Director of Ops will ensure targets are met in regards to customer service and ensures colleague satisfaction, focuses on growing revenues, and maximizes the financial performance of the Division by working closely with managers to achieve goals. As a member of the Assistant Leadership team, the Asst. Director of Ops will support the implementation of property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of guest and associates.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of progressive experience in operations - F&B (including Banquets) & Rooms background is preferred • Excellent communication skills

• Experience leading teams of Managers

• Availability to work various shifts including afternoons, evenings, holidays, and weekends

• Hyatt experience preferred
