Hyatt Place Seattle/ Downtown is looking for talented team members!
Our talented Front Desk Agents' primary responsibilities are to ensure guest satisfaction and deliver prompt, courteous, and professional service. Guest Services will routinely check-in/check-out guests, answer phones, take reservations, and assist other staff with job functions as necessary. This position is requires flexibility when it comes to scheduling which includes mornings, evenings and weekends.
Successful team members will interact positively with customers and take action to solve problems in a manner that exceeds the satisfaction of parties involved. Instances of dissatisfaction will be addressed thoughtfully, thoroughly, and creatively. Team members are encouraged to provide feed back suggestions and ideas to improve upon guest experiences and to prevent future issues from arising. Our team members feel comfortable using our guests' names in a natural manner to ensure warm and personalized service. Front Desk Agents orchestrate a great deal of the guest experience, including registration and check-out, PBX operations, mail and message service.
Front Desk Agents must also be accurate with daily accounting procedures.
Essential hospitality standards must be used at all times including eye contact, warm smiles, personal greetings, and polite conversation when appropriate.
Work Objective:
Delight hotel guests with friendly, personable service
Act as our guest's personal concierge. Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, reservations, attractions, directions, etc.
Respond to guest needs, special request, and complaints as needed.
Smile, acknowledge, and greet guests at front desk and other public areas.
Process guest registrations, including computation and collection of payment
Complete shift reports and process all financial transactions, including the verification and process of credit card transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures
Send and receive telephone calls and messages
Teamwork
Flexible schedule required
Assist other employees in various assignments
Treat fellow team members with respect, dignity, and courtesy

Is a customer service champion!
Has 1-2 years Hotel Front Desk experience
Has previous experience with Opera PMS and Micros POS systems.
Is personable, peppy, and good with people.
Excels in a fast-paced environment.
