In this demanding role, you will be responsible for both driving and executing moving tasks, ensuring the secure and prompt delivery of our goods to our valued customers. Responsibilities: • Drive vehicles weighing up to 26,000 pounds • Handle freight loading and unloading • Ensure secure and organized load packing • Maintain driving and delivery records • Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance • Adhere to DOT delivery and rest schedules • Park trucks and buses safely • Navigate routes using GPS • Drive safely and follow regulations • Use basic technology • Adhere to MG Moving Services Policies and Procedures Qualifications: • Candidate needs a valid driver's license • Background check, drug screen, and driving record required • Dependable attendance is necessary • Flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime • Candidate must lift up to 50 pounds • Preference for operating electric lift, hand truck, and pallet jack Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
• Operate and drive single vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of up to 26,000 pounds • Load and unload freight using proper freight handling equipment • Ensure load contents are securely packed and organized • Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs • Perform regular inspections and necessary vehicle maintenance • Follow delivery and rest schedules as required by DOT • Maneuver and park large trucks or buses • Navigate routes with GPS or other routing systems • Practice safe driving techniques • Comply with driver and vehicle DOT regulations • Utilize basic technology • Follow the MG Moving Services Policies and Procedures for drivers
