We are hiring a Machine Operator to safely and efficiently operate assigned production machines at a busy food production facility.

Pay starts at $19.25 per hour, operating on 3rd shift, with mandatory overtime on Saturdays and sometimes Sundays. Employees are eligible to enroll in our Medical, Dental, Vision, and other benefit plans after 60 days of employment.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating machinery in a production environment (preferred)
• Ability to learn and follow established operating procedures and protocols
• Understanding and commitment to food safety principles and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting production deadlines
• Proficiency in using basic computer software and performing data entry
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to quality

As a Machine Operator, you will perform routine setup and changeovers of equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to production timelines, always adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to prevent contamination. The Machine Operator monitors product quality and identifies any potential defects, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain consistent quality standards. Machine Operators also package and palletize finished products according to customer specifications, as well as setting up and maintain tape machines, keeping cartons readily available for packers and product buckets empty, and ensuring proper sealing and coding of bags to maintain accurate identification and traceability.
