Hutchinson Public Schools, ISD 423, is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to start July 1, 2024. The contract for this position is 260 days. The salary range for this position is approximately $87,000-$93,000 with a competitive benefits package including insurances and paid time off.
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the human resource programs and services of the District. Responsibilities include but are not limited to employee selection and recruitment; ESST tracking and oversight; performance management systems; employee orientations; human resource planning, organizational development and personnel policies/procedures; employee relations; collective bargaining agreement administration; human rights administration; personnel investigation leadership and collaboration with administration; state reporting; oversee labor legal requirements and compliance; project management; resolve work-related issues; and workers' compensation administration.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate knowledge and ability to operate computers, software, printers and other office equipment. In addition, they will exhibit computer literacy with Microsoft, SMART HR & SMART Finance, Google Apps, RedRover, and Frontline. The Human Resources Coordinator will also have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to individuals, groups and the public.
Hutchinson Schools is seeking a knowledgeable, self-motivated individual who can work under stress and within time restrictions with limited or no supervision while upholding the highest degree of confidentiality. Must be a leader and team player.
Twelve month, full-time position. Independent contract. Benefit eligible position. Paid holidays and vacation. Salary dependent upon education, qualifications, abilities and experience.
