POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic Facilities Field Manager for our organization. This role is integral to our operations, managing and coordinating internal facility improvement projects that drive our strategic objectives. As the Facilities Field Manager, you'll have the opportunity to create impactful changes across our organization, from liaising with stakeholders to ensure project success, to maintaining high standards of quality control in all facility-related matters. The role also extends to vital responsibilities such as serving as the OSHA 30 representative and the in- house APPA (Association of Physical Plant Administrators) regulator. This Position requires direct action on projects to assist team members in completing scopes of work on time and within service level agreement (SLA).
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Bachelor’s degree, Multiple Field related Certifications, Facilities Management Experience, or other related field services practical knowledge
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint applications
• Strong writing, verbal, and organizational skills are essential
• Hold an OSHA 30 certification
• Possess a Citywide Standpipe and Sprinkler Certification
• Ability to proficiently utilize a variety of commercial grade tools and equipment
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and stand/crouch in place for over 10 minutes
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management and facilities management
• Excellent ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong familiarity with multiple project management systems
• Proficient in Six Sigma and Agile methodologies, with a Certified SCRUM Master designation
• Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED
• Hold a Time Management Certification
• Demonstrable experience in managing manpower, financial resources, and materials efficiently
• Expertise in handling, negotiating, purchasing, procurement contracts
• Strong skills in vendor management, with a proven track record of maintaining successful vendor relationships
SUPERVISION
• The Facilities Field Manager position reports directly to the Director of Facilities Management.
SALARY RANGE
• $52,000 - $65,000 Annually, plus benefits!

Founded in 1875, Huston-Tillotson University is Austin's first institution of higher education.
