Huron Gastro, P.C. is an adult medical gastroenterology practice specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders that affect the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), rectum, liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas. Our practice includes 22 physicians who are board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, 7 Advanced Practice Providers and an outstanding staff of clinical and administrative personnel.

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in HR

Experience

  • Minimum two years experience processing payroll
  • Minimum two years of benefit administration
  • Minimum two years of HR experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with HRIS
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Well organized and decisive

Duties

  • Coordinate the administration of group benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, FSA and 401(k) plan.
  • Process accurate and timely payroll for both the bi-weekly and monthly payroll groups
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll or benefit related matters in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with HR and finance team to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes and data
  • Process involuntary deductions such as garnishments
  • Assist with Worker's Compensation Audit
  • 401(k) year-end testing and audit support
  • Benefit enrollments for both new employees and open enrollment period
  • Create and distribute payroll reports shared by HR and Accounting
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives
  • Assist in maintaining and audit of personnel files
  • Assist in projects within the HR department

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
