Huron Gastro currently has an opportunity for full-time Accountant. This position would be assisting to provide financial and operational information to the COO and Physicians. Education
- Bachelor Degree with accounting focus
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Experience with multi-company accounting software
- Familiarity with Accounting CS or other accounting programs
- Financial statements
- Understanding applicable tax laws
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Well organized and decisive
- Reconcile payments such as payroll, medical reimbursement, 401(k) and health insurance
- Review payment of invoices and reconcile expenses posted to appropriate accounts
- Assist with monthly compilation of financial information
- Post depreciation journal entries
- Reconcile numerous credit card statements
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain fixed asset records
