JOB SUMMARY: Oversee service and repair existing fire alarm systems. Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and some Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, design/ installation methods, calculations & material lists for fire alarm systems.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Generally responsible for troubleshooting and repairs of existing fire alarm systems.Understand design & Layout of Fire Alarm SystemsField SurveyingTroubleshooting skillsCommunication with the customer.Proper reporting to the local AHJ.JOB REQUIREMENTS:NICET certification preferred but not requiredGeneral mechanical knowledgeMust possess an active Texas Fire Alarm LicenseExperience in Fire Protection Installation or DesignDemonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills. Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelinesAble to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary; proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft OfficeDetailed oriented and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy when performing job duties
