Job Description:

The Field Project Manager is the primary point of contact for our builder partners, subcontractors and staff. The Field Project Manager will manage, organize and ensure job completion for installation of the Trim Carpentry department. To be a successful candidate, you must have proven project management experience in New Home Construction. Must reside in Jacksonville, FL and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the development and process for new construction projects.
  • Plan and schedule subcontractor carpenter crews schedule and monitor performance.
  • A good understanding and knowledge of finish carpentry.
  • Understand and submit data and construction documents.
  • Ability to read and comprehend construction blue prints.
  • Competency in general computer applications; Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • MUST have at least 2-5 years’ experience as a project manager in the field in construction, as a foreman/superintendent, or as a trim carpenter.
  • Good communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent with time management
  • Ability to work in a harsh environment, exposed to the elements, with physical activity
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines as required
  • Proven ability to supervise, lead and develop others
  • Must have dependable vehicle.
