Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Jacksonville, FL -hybrid 3 days onsite

Overview

We are on the hunt for a Senior Project Manager with a flair for exemplary communication, robust vendor management skills, and significant experience in application development and software package implementations. This strategic role offers the chance to lead vital initiatives within a vibrant corporate setting.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee complex projects involving multiple vendors and intricate integrations.

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables clearly and concisely.

- Develop and monitor comprehensive project plans, coordinating all external integration points and dependencies.

- Lead project teams, providing direction and overseeing all project activities.

- Efficiently allocate project resources and manage project budgets.

- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

- Manage project changes to ensure achievement of the overarching goals.

- Regularly update all stakeholders on project status and progress.

- Guide and direct external vendors, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

- Engage in quality audits and develop RFIs/RFPs for external services as needed.

Requirements

- Proven leadership in building and managing teams, fostering relationships, and executing detailed project plans.

- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecast accurately, and provide variance explanations.

- Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership, ensuring clarity and precision in project updates.

- Extensive experience in managing projects using Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies, aligning processes and deliverables to project needs.

- Experience in managing diverse projects with various execution methodologies.

- Expertise in vendor contract management and implementation of vendor packages.

- Experience leading both internal and external, including hybrid, project teams.

- Experience managing technology roadmap projects.

- Broad knowledge of the technology sector, including core infrastructure and cloud development, preferably with Azure.

- A foundational understanding of data manipulation and governance is preferred.

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications are required.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a strong focus on vendor management and software implementations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Microsoft Project Server, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps are advantageous.

- A strong technical background, with additional certifications or degrees in computer science, information systems, or engineering, is highly regarded.
