Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the organization.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Foster positive employee relations by creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Implement and oversee performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.
  • Work with managers to address performance issues and provide coaching and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Promote a culture of learning and growth within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct surveys and gather feedback to measure employee engagement and identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (typically 5 years) in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with the company's goals and values.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
