We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Care Professional or Health Administrator to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in organizing, coordinating, and implementing a range of training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and readiness of our members and partner organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Organizing and Scheduling Decontamination Trainings: Plan and schedule comprehensive decontamination training sessions for hospital staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage and respond to contamination incidents.
Coordinating Advanced Burn Life Support Training: Oversee the coordination of Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) training courses for members of the Chicago Hospital System Coalition for Preparedness and Response (CHSCPR), enhancing their capabilities in providing critical care for burn victims.
Engaging with Organizations for REAC/TS Training: Actively engage with organizations to facilitate Radiation Emergency Assistance Center/Training Site (REAC/TS) training for CHSCPR members, ensuring they are prepared to respond to radiation emergencies.
Contracting and Conducting CHSCPR Exercises: Negotiate contracts with organizations or directly conduct CHSCPR exercises as mandated by the Cooperative Agreement. Responsibilities include exercise planning, execution, and the development of comprehensive After-Action Reports (AARs) and Improvement Plans (IPs) to address any identified gaps.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Emergency Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in health care administration, emergency preparedness, or a closely related field.
Demonstrated experience in organizing and conducting training programs and exercises, particularly in a health care context.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including hospital staff, emergency responders, and government agencies.
Knowledge of decontamination procedures, burn life support protocols, and radiation emergency response preferred.
Ability to develop and implement effective After-Action Reports and Improvement Plans.
