JOB DUTIES
- Work any bar on property as determined by the manager on duty
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly side work as indicated
- Oversee maintenance/cleanliness of all bar areas including all storage areas pertaining to the beverage teams department
- Point out any problems with bar equipment and work together towards a solution
- Constantly being aware of any needs that the bartenders may have, restocking glassware, ice, garnishes, etc.
- To be present and participate in any monthly bartender/apprentice training seminars
- To execute daily side work with enthusiasm and motivation
- Perform other job related activities as required or assigned by a supervisor
- To promote teamwork in the hotel, creating a positive working environment
- To properly execute all necessary steps of service
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and organization at all times
- Attend pre-shift daily
- To treat every guest, associate and vendor with respect and dignity
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 18 years of age
- US work authorization required
- Previous experience in a similar setting
- Previous hotel/resort experience preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- Must meet grooming standards
- Strong attention to detail as it pertains to cleanliness standards
- Able to demonstrate high energy, and strong enthusiasm for customer service
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
