POSITION SUMMARY:
The Porter/Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall cleaning and appearance of the community models and vacant readies, in addition to the public access areas utilized by current and prospective residents.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Cleans office, public access areas, and models as directed. This includes but is not limited to mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Cleans apartments thoroughly after move-out or make ready to prepare for new residents
- Keeps model units and public access areas clean and maintains these areas
- Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies
- Responsible for trash and debris removal from the trash compactor and dumpster areas
- Maintains the housekeeping storage room
- Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs in unoccupied apartments, models, and common areas to the Property Manager
- Helps maintenance staff and other staff members as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods, with frequent interruptions, including reaching, bending, or carrying
- Requires manual dexterity with normal hand/finger movement and coordination
- Ability to occasionally lifts, carry, position, or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
