Description:

Secures financial operations by monitoring and approving financial processing, reporting, and auditing.

Assist in managing the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate monthly reconciliation of accounts.

Assist in various accounting functions such as accounts payable analysis, payroll reconciliation, expense report processing, and other ad-hoc general accounting-related tasks.

Prepares and reviews journal entries.

Meets accounting operational standards by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews, resolving problems, and identifying system improvements.

Prepare and review analysis of various balance sheets and P&L accounts.

Assess the effectiveness of controls and understand internal controls.

Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls.

Supports annual audit by providing information and answers to auditors.

Documents financial transactions by entering account information.

Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

Supervises staff accountants and accomplishes accounting objectives.

Requirements:

2 years of public accounting experience

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance

Active CPA

Minimum four years’ experience in accounting/finance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Self-starter with excellent time and self-management skills & ability to prioritize.

High attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
