Howard Fertilizer is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

Howard Fertilizer & Chemical Company has evolved from a 1932 small fertilizer operation in downtown Orlando, FL serving the Central Florida citrus growers to the multi-site fertilizer and chemical distribution company of today.

The key to success at Howard Fertilizer & Chemical is the service-oriented attitude towards our customers. We produce and distribute quality products, at competitive prices, with the best delivery turnaround time in the industry.

Howard Fertilizer & Chemical Company is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative

Location: Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities:

· Support Sales team in day-to-day operations of busy store front

· Field sales inquiries via phone, email or in person helping with agronomic advice

· Generate quotes and orders for potential customers

· Develop sales from group of current customers as well as developing new customers

· Develop agronomic programs for customers

· Proactively contact customers and drive sales

Skills and knowledge:

· Exceptional customer service

· Strong agronomic understanding of lawn care, golf, nursery.

· Strong performance in fast-paced environments

· Bilingual in Spanish a plus

· Ability to problem-solve turf and ornamental issues

· 2-4 year turf or horticulture degree

· Sales experience preferred

· Proficiency with MS Office suite and other applicable programs

Compensation :

Salary plus commission
