Operate and maintain a supply inventory system supporting all departments throughout the hospital. Inventory all assigned carts and nursing stations to ensure proper and authorized items are available and the necessary paperwork is processed. Also assist in the proper management of the supply stockroom.
High School graduate or GED.
Involves standing, walking, and bending most of the shift. Must be able to lift boxes weighing at least 50 pounds. Work is performed in a temperature controlled stockroom and other departments within the hospital. Must possess good communication skills and use tact and professionalism with those he/she interacts with. Must be able to perform simple arithmetic.
Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
