Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations and management of a residential property, ensuring tenant satisfaction and efficient property maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in leasing activities including showing units, processing applications, and lease renewals
- Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and maintain organized property records
- Support facilities management by coordinating repairs and maintenance work
- Assist with legal compliance related to property management and lease agreements
- Maintain office operations by answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office supplies
- Utilize customer relationship management skills to build positive tenant relationships
- Assist in real estate administrative tasks such as rent collection and financial reporting
- Utilize Yardi software for property management tasks
- Provide upselling opportunities for additional services or amenities
Skills:
- Proficient in data entry with attention to detail
- Knowledge of facilities management practices
- Familiarity with real estate law and regulations
- Office management skills including organization and time management
- Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) properties is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong customer relationship management abilities
- Prior experience in real estate administrative tasks preferred
- Familiarity with Yardi software or similar property management systems
- Ability to identify upselling opportunities for additional revenue
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
