Private and cheerful family in Collegeville, PA is seeking a mature and responsible Nanny / Housekeeper to become an integral part of our busy family dynamic.

Our household comprises two energetic children aged 7 and 3, and we require someone who can provide excellent childcare while also managing light housekeeping duties primarily focused on the children's areas.

The ideal candidate is someone who is discreet, proactive, mature, demonstrates good manners, reliable, and organized. Can be nurturing and loving while also upholding family rules / values.

Responsibilities : Childcare :

Childcare :

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for our 7 and 3-year-old children.
• Pick up children from school and drive them to after-school activities.
• Assist with baths and bedtime routines to ensure a smooth transition to sleep.
• Assist with homework.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster their development and creativity.
• Follow family rules regarding screen time and outdoor play, ensuring a healthy balance of both.

Meal Preparation :

• Prepare healthy dinner meals for the children, with input from the parents on menu planning.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, balanced, and tailored to any dietary requirements or preferences.

Light Housekeeping :

• Perform light housekeeping duties focused on the children's areas, including tidying up their shared bedroom, making beds, and keeping toys organized and doing children's laundry.
• Clean up the kitchen after meals, ensuring dishes are washed and put away and floors are swept.
• Maintain a tidy living area, promoting a clean and welcoming environment for the family.

Organization and Communication :

• Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills to manage both childcare and housekeeping responsibilities effectively.
• Maintain open and proactive communication with parents regarding the children's well-being and any household matters.
• Be observant and proactive in identifying tasks that need to be done, taking initiative to complete them efficiently.

Additional Requirements :

• Develop a strong bond with the children and become an integral part of our family unit.
• Plan and facilitate outdoor playdates, adhering to the family's preference for outdoor activities.
• Structure activities for days off from school, ensuring engaging and enriching experiences outside the home.
• Exhibit good manners and uphold family rules, serving as a positive role model for the children.
• Demonstrate cultural awareness and respect for our family's cultural background and values.
• Proficient in English to assist with homework.

Working Hours :

Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 2pm - 8pm; Wednesdays 2pm - 9pm; Fridays 2pm - 6pm. (Guaranteed 30 hours / week but can be 35 for the right candidate).

Benefits :

Salary : $800 - $1000 per week for 30 hours
