Full Time Room Attendant

The Hotel Colorado is hiring for a Full Time Room Attendant. The pay rate for this position is $17.00 / hr. It is a full-time position eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits, accrued vacation time, 401K after one year, and accrued sick time.

In addition, we offer a free employee meal with each shift, a sister property rate at our sister property and use of the company ski passes to Sunlight during the season.

A free bus pass is offered after 30 days of employment the type which is based on your home address. Our company has an Employee Assistance Program available to all employees and family members.

The primary function of this position is maintaining a clean and sanitary facility at all times.

• Mops and vacuums all floors daily and cleans mops after each use.
• Changes all bed linens, bedspreads, and blankets as needed.
• Cleans and disinfects sink, toilet, and tub-shower.
• Restocks guest amenities and provides clean towels as needed.
• Washes windows and window coverings in all rooms as needed.
• Dusts all countertops, bedroom dresser tops, and furniture as needed.
• Dusts paintings, wall fixtures, and door jambs in rooms and hallways weekly.
• Empties all trash cans on a daily basis and disposes of trash in designated areas.
• Recycles appropriate materials in accordance with training procedures.
• Reports any broken items to management, such as beds, chairs, and fixtures.
• Ensures all unnecessary lights are turned off as required.
• Works efficiently to ensure that productivity standards are met for departure and stayover rooms.
• Assist in Deep Cleaning of guestrooms as assigned.
