Hospital Central Services Cooperative is Hiring a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Near Baltimore, MD
Do you want to take part in positively impacting patient and healthcare needs? HCSC linen services is an innovative provider of textile programs and services to the healthcare community. Our services directly impact the health and safety of the patients by providing healthcare facilities with top-quality linen services. We sort, process, and deliver linen for every healthcare need. This role supervises 2nd shift production employees at the Baltimore, MD Division of HCSC-Laundry. Responsibilities include employee orientation and training, employee relations/communications, safety, and monitoring workflow, and daily scheduling of employees within specific departments to match and maintain workflow. Additional duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Oversees departments to survey work process, employees & equipment operation ensuring safety and quality standards are met
*Enters employee payroll information and production scores via computer
*Communicates production issues to management
*Supervises, orients & trains employees
Experience and Education:
*Bachelor degree or combination of education and experience
*Strong management, interpersonal and communication skills
*Problem solving skills
*Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office
*Bilingual Spanish a plus
**All new hires are eligible for Bonuses. You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus. Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service.**
