Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily farm activities / chores associated with caring for breeder turkeys, hatching eggs, farm equipment as outlined and described in dept. operating manuals
• Help employees with safety, productivity and cost control by providing personal involvement in farm management and operating decisions / problem solving

Minimum Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to and from assigned farm
• Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays
• 9th grade math level, reading and writing skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• PHYSICAL : Able to lift up to 70 pounds from the floor to your waist occasionally
• Able to wear eye and respiratory protection equipment continually
• Ability to work in all weather conditions cold and hot
• No restrictions with lifting, bending or standing

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid drivers license with a good record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years farm experience
