Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Manager to join our team. As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department and ensuring compliance with employment labor laws. Other duties will involve working with health, professional and general liability insurance compliance. This is a new and exciting role that is perfect for someone who has been in Human Resources for sometime or currenlty working in a secondary assistant positon. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment labor laws
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring process, including conducting interviews and making hiring recommendations
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding activities
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Manage employee performance evaluations and provide guidance on performance improvement strategies
- Develop and implement succession planning initiatives to identify and develop future leaders within the organization
- Collaborate with management to develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR management
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Paylocity, Oracle, Taleo, or Paychex
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience in program management is a plus
