Horgan Law is Hiring a Paralegal Near Omaha, NE

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The Paralegal will provide support to attorneys by conducting legal research, managing projects, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal procedures and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Duties: - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases - Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, contracts, and pleadings - Organize and maintain client files and documents using document management systems - Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for attorneys - Assist with the preparation of trial exhibits and other materials for court proceedings - Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters - Prepare correspondence, memos, and other written materials as requested - Assist in the preparation of legal forms and documents for filing with courts or government agencies - Perform general clerical duties, such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and organizing mail Requirements: - Proven experience working as a Paralegal or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices - Proficient in conducting legal research using various resources - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work product - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment - Proficient in using document management systems and other relevant software applications - Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures is preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
