What you’ll do:

• Play a key role in a strategic initiative broadening the types of transportation services HopSkipDrive can deliver 
• Become the product owner for integrations to 3rd party transportation systems, as well as our own commercial APIs
• Work closely with senior leadership to develop a product strategy
• Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap for your area of focus
• Perform commercial and technical diligence on 3rd party providers and systems
• Write detailed requirements, acceptance criteria to provide a clear spec to engineering
• Be a team player with Engineering and QA to help them build, test and deliver
• Work with 3rd parties to test, validate and support established integrations
• Coordinate work with other Product and Engineering leads on cross-team initiatives and dependencies
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to successfully roll out changes
• Measure, learn and continue to improve

What you’ll bring:

• 7 years of technical product management experience
• 2 years of direct experience on integrations and API development 
• Excellent business and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences 
• Successful track record of delivering high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment
• A hands-on, outcome oriented approach—you’ll do whatever it takes to drive impact 
• A commitment to quality and continuous improvement

Nice to have:

• Professional and / or academic experience as a software engineer
• Experience in transportation, logistics or travel
• Experience with two-sided marketplaces

Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set and specific work location. The total compensation package for this role also includes equity stock options.
