Hopkins | Lacy is searching for a diligent and highly-motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our well-established, growing company. The APM assists in the direction of daily activities of all assigned project operations. The APM is responsible for assisting with oversight of daily job progress, submittal development, scheduling of manpower and materials, equipment purchasing, quality assurance, cost control, and producing monthly project reports. This position reports to the Sr. Project Manager; the position working closely with, and supporting, all members of the project team to ensure success of the project.
Travel is limited to the Central and Southwest Virginia area.

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40 hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
