We currently have fully licensed therapists on staff as well as registered interns as master's-level interns. We also have billing, marketing and administrative staff to support scheduling, credentialing, marketing, and billing for our providers.

Job Details

Hope & Serenity Health Services is hiring for a part-time Board Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who specializes in and is committed to supporting the mental health needs of adults. The position, to begin Summer 2024, is ideal for an individual desiring to be a part of a relaxed, supportive, professional, and collaborative environment that prioritizes the care of the employees equally to the care of the clients.

The ideal candidate for this position has the desire to apply their knowledge, skills and ability to develop appropriate treatment plans adhering to evidence-based guidelines, in collaboration with a team of mental health professionals. The ideal candidate also has the knowledge, skills and ability to conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide individual treatment to clients with a range of mental health diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other psychiatric diagnoses.

As the part-time, PMHNP with Hope & Serenity, you will:

  • Collaborate with agency mental health providers, including social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and registered and graduate interns to provide comprehensive coordinated care to clients.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in serving diverse populations.
  • Support and execute the values of the practice: commitment to integrity, compassion, inclusivity, and respect.
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations to determine the psychopharmacological needs of clients and develop treatment plans adhering to evidence based guidelines.
  • Prescribe appropriate medication for clients and foster continuity of care by monitoring reactions to the medication and treatment regimen.
  • Support clients through psychoeducation and by answering/responding to questions in accordance with agency guidelines and policy.
  • Accurately document all client care activities in electronic health records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain current knowledge of psychiatric medications, treatments, and trends in mental health care through continuing education opportunities.
  • Engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings to inform, educate, and support the team with best practices pertinent to the PMHNP field.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations complying with all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to safety and HIPAA.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procedures relevant to psychiatric services.
  • Add to the cohesive work culture that is passionate about quality clinical care and supporting the team and practice.

This is a part-time position (1-2 days per week or up to 10 hours per week) with the ability to increase hours if desired.

Flexible schedule: Monday – Friday only, Hybrid position (in office approx 1 day per week)

Please note: all clinical positions begin as part-time, flat-rate, billable hour positions.

Days and hours are flexible, but must include at least one weekday of evening hours (4pm - 7pm).

Compensation

Compensation will be structured as an hourly rate. Rate is commensurate with experience and caseload.
