The Company:

HF Custom (Formerly known as Sam Moore), a division of Hooker Furnishings Corporation (NASDAQ: HOFT), is currently recruiting a recliner frame assembler to work in our Bedford, VA location. Hooker Furnishings Corporation, in its 100th year of business, is a designer, marketer and importer of case goods (wooden and metal furniture), leather furniture and fabric-upholstered furniture for the residential, hospitality and contract markets.

The Position:

We are looking for a dependable individual with a great attention to detail to join our Assembly team as a Recliner Frame Assembler. This candidate will maintain our recliner assembly area and work independently to complete the following duties:

• Receive frame parts and learn how to assemble frames for all recliner models.
• Use hand tools such as air-driven staple guns, claw hammer, scissors, and small utility knives to assemble frames.
• Lift frames and wood parts on and off of table as needed and maneuver frames for assembly. 

Candidates that will be a great fit will:

• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have previous assembly or carpentry experience.
• Enjoy fast paced and independent work.
• Be able to work standing up for entire shift and move quickly from one department to another.
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Shift: Monday to Friday 6 am - 3:30 pm.
