The AT Performance, Operability and Methods group within the Engine System and Component Analysis department is seeking an engineer who will be a key contributor to developing tools and methods for system performance and operability modeling. The position provides the individual with an opportunity to interface with system engineering analysts within the engines and APU product lines, component design teams, testing, and experts in the information technology groups. Diverse technical and planning skills are needed to create, maintain, and implement tools, methods, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities for this position include:
·Lead tool development, maintenance and enhancement initiatives, with a focus on Performance and Operability Modeling and Analysis for gas turbine engines
·Deploy process enhancements, identify opportunities for cost-effective tool consolidation and/or creation of new tools.
·Lead modernization of tools and process for engine system modeling
·Lead global team to manage productivity tool development projects and ensure all projects meet cost, schedule and quality objectives
·Work closely with our global teams to support gas turbine engine development programs
·Work closely with our internal customers to support performance and operability modeling and analyses
·Develop documentation & training materials.
