This position reports directly to the SPS Controller. The position will be responsible for evaluating and refining SPS’s internal controls framework, performing internal control procedures, performing top-down SOX risk assessment, assess the design of overall controls framework, managing remediation of control deficiencies, and conducting risk-based balance sheet reviews (BSR) across SPS entities. The position will partner with business finance to improve financial reporting processes that support its strategic initiatives. Additionally, position will develop and maintain SPS internal control dashboard, support quarterly controls procedures and documentation and participate in special projects which may include process reviews, analytics, acquisition due diligence, integration and divestiture projects.
