Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aero. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership for systems at every aspect of the systems lifecycle, from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Power Systems Engineering Electric Power Systems business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones. Supports Electric Drive Systems team in Torrance, California.

Typically provides support for technical sections of proposals and trade study white papers, with block diagrams and logic to justify design of motor controller circuit designs and inverters. Coordinates technical proposal inputs for estimates of motor controller, electric drive systems, and actuation controller work both with the internal team and external supporting departments.

Responsible for the execution of long-term electric drive systems engineering projects including Electric Propulsion Units (EPUs), Micro Vapor Cycle Systems cooling for condenser and compressor fan control, and electric traction drive systems design.

Supports plans, estimates, and schedules for systems engineering work for assigned projects or relevant subproject segments. Helps systems lead engineers coordinate with resource people managers to ensure technical adequacy of staff assigned to projects.
