PEP PMS experience required
The Homewood Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Plymouth Meeting is looking for energetic and motivated individuals for full-time Guest Services Representatives. Our hotel operates 24/7. This is a fast paced, high demand job. We are looking for someone who can MULTITASK and ‘gets the job done’ with a smile.
This position will require holidays, day and evening and overnight shifts as well as shifts on weekends and during inclement weather. You must have a reliable car to get you to and from work. Weekends (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY) and full flexibility are required for this position.
Duties/Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
· Ensure efficient guest registration, checkout and guest service
· Handle confidential information and guest records
· Must have good problem resolution skills and think/act quickly in high pressure situations
· Resolve customer complaints through empowerment to exceed guest expectations and resolve conflict
· Communicate any real or potential emergency situations to General Manager and Assistant General Manager
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time (full shift, 8 hours)
· Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
· Communication with other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and Management)
· Pass on pertinent shift information to next shift
· Must have proper phone etiquette
· Responsible for taking reservations, answering & transferring phone calls
· Make courtesy calls to guests to assure their complete satisfaction with room & stay
· Perform administrative functions for guests, i.e., faxing, coping, mailing, and other clerical duties
· Willingness and ability to train new associates
· Be familiar with the area: know the surrounding area to give directions and recommendations to our guests.
· Set-up, refill and prepare breakfast
· Assist in other departments when needed (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and Management)
· All other duties/responsibilities assigned by Management
Ideal candidates will have Hilton/OnQ front desk experience. We need friendly, kind go-getters who can work towards our number one goal: exceeding our guests’ expectations and going above and beyond for team members and guests alike.
Schedule will change each week depending on demand. Shifts are: 7A-3P, 3P-11P, and 11P-7A.
