To succeed in this role, you must understand the emotional and developmental disabilities of the people you serve. As a Registered Nurse Delegator, you will be responsible for:

• Provide training to new hires on client specific cares
• Review, maintain, and stay current on all client protocols
• Monitor, observe, evaluate, and document competency of employee’s ability to successfully and safely administer Registered Nurse delegated tasks
• Document training, delegation, using company forms
• Administer and document administration of medical treatments, medications, physician orders accurately, timely, within guidelines for company licensing
• Adhere to all program policies and procedures
• Report allegations of abuse, resident rights violations, conflict of interest, harassment or fraud to appropriate level of management

To be considered for this job, you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Licensed Registered Nurse with Current WI Licensure in good standing is required
• Associated Degree or higher in Nursing required
• Experience in training provision and human services is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Demonstrate flexibility, autonomy, responsiveness, and sound judgement
• Valid driver's license for 3 years with an acceptable driving record per HIL's policy
• Successful completion of a caregiver background check as mandated by Wisconsin Chapter DHS 12
• Successful completion of a pre-employment TB test and health screen
