Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Perform general ledger reconciliation and account analysis

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

- Prepare financial reports and assist with financial statement preparation

- Assist with tax compliance and reporting

- Process payroll using Ceridian, PeopleSoft, or Paychex

- Utilize QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software to maintain accurate financial records

- Support the finance team with various administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

-Additional languages preferred but not required: Mandarin, Spanish.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- Experience with Ceridian, PeopleSoft, or Paychex payroll systems is a plus

- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles

- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms

- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: From $21.00 per hour
