A large successful homecare is seeking a director of payroll and billing!

The Director of Payroll and Billing directs all aspects of the payroll and billing process. Establishes and oversees processes and procedures for routine processing, tax reporting, and internal financial requirements, setting and enforcing billing policies, managing accounts receivables, and ensuring that all tasks are completed and documented properly on, time and accurately.

Responsibilities for director of payroll:

• Auditing the entire payroll process, approving exemptions and salary changes and setting guidelines for all procedures around employee compensation.
• Overseeing the billing process for customers or patients.
• Ensure that a process is created and managed for all spending, recording of spending and timely submissions to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
• Responsible for the successful development and implementation of all FMAP programs.
• Ensure each program is successfully rolled out, each caregiver is properly compensated or the program or items needed have been delivered and are being used.

Qualifications for director of payroll:

• Experience in a supervisory or administrative position in a home care organization OR an equivalent and demonstrates a strong knowledge of Regulations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads/referrals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
